FEATURED STORY
Speaking Tour Raises Awareness

Stories and images of real need—and real hope—as Sean speaks to an attentive audience at the Midfield Café at the Nashua, NH airport in February 2009.
Returning from his recent trips to Honduras and Guatemala didn’t mark the end of travel, but only the beginning as MAG President Sean Donnelly has been speaking to audiences throughout the Northeast. Speaking at eight different venues in as many weeks, audiences including churches, pilot groups, local airports, and school children, all heard the same message—that there are people in remote places with life-and-death needs who can really only be reached using airplanes—that God loves them and cares about their needs and demonstrates that care by sending people like us, with the help of people like you—and that your help really does make a life-changing, or even life-saving, difference! The reaction was just as consistent as the message: “Wow, I really had no idea.”
Sean’s “tour” has succeeded in raising awareness as well as offers of volunteer help, and invitations to publish several articles. Mr. Rony Camille, a Nashua, NH resident who attended Sean’s talk at the Nashua Airport had this reaction: “I am not a pilot nor do I have lots of money, [but] I was so moved by the presentation that I made up my mind to volunteer any services I could.”
Audiences are hearing about MAG’s ongoing work in Honduras, about several pilots trained by MAG for other missions groups, and about current opportunities MAG has to partner with missionary hospitals to establish air ambulance service in Guatemala and deeper into the Honduran Moskitia.
