MAG delivers aid to the most needy and remote areas in Eastern Honduras. Within the map area (below) designated as “MAG at work”, we deliver “help and hope” in the following ways:

Air ambulance services
In the remote jungles of Eastern Honduras, medical care can literally be days away by foot or by river. Here, missionary pilots and aircraft are the difference between life and death for those facing critical illnesses, injuries, and pregnancies. MAG emergency medical evacuation flights into these isolated villages save hundreds of lives per year.

Logistical support for relief activities

Getting food, supplies, and help into remote areas is a challenge for any organization. MAG provides a logistics bridge for doctors, medical teams, ministries, and relief agencies to get people and supplies to places that need it most – but are effectively inaccessible except by air.

Delivery of emergency aid
When hurricanes and other natural disasters strike, MAG works in partnership with several other missionary and relief organizations to deliver emergency aid directly to victims in remote areas of Honduras. 100% of the funds collected are used directly for food provisions or the purchase of seed to replant lost crops.
